Chef Anthony Draganowski's culinary journey began in the kitchens of Europe, where he spent years mastering classical French technique while absorbing the rich traditions of Continental cuisine. His training took him through acclaimed kitchens across France and Germany, where he developed an unwavering commitment to quality and craftsmanship.

After returning to his roots in the Midwest, Chef Tony dreamed of bringing world-class dining to the Chippewa Valley. In 2005, that dream became reality with the opening of Bijou Bistro—a name meaning "small jewel" in French, perfectly capturing the intimate elegance he envisioned.

Today, with over two decades of culinary excellence, Chef Tony continues to craft each dish with the same passion and precision that has made Bijou the region's only five-star dining destination. His philosophy is simple: use the finest ingredients, honor traditional techniques, and create experiences that linger in memory long after the last bite.
